Rabbit Book, The (Stump Book #2)

Antique children's book in a unique format. "Stump Books" were miniature oblong children's books 6" X 1.2". Pictorial hardcovers with a small bone pin/clasp. There were six books total in the series 1. Ten Little Nigger Boys 2. The Rabbit Book 3. The House That Jack Built 4. Puss in Boots 5. Ten Little Jappy Chaps 6. Five Little Pixies. This book is bright and attractive. The bone pine is intact. Red dyed top-edge of text block. The book shows some light spotting/soiling near the front hinge and some moderate fading to the back cover. The interior pages are bright and sharp on thick quality cardstock. The binding is somewhat stressed however leaving some gaps between the signatures (each of which is just a single long piece of cardstock) and. the second to last signature is split causing 2 pages to be loose and the back cover to be nearly detached. It's a relatively simple repair but I'll leave it to the buyer to arrange.
